NEC VT560 User Reviews

Bought one on ebay for £2.50 so cheap brilliant projector. Always buy NEC very good brand I recommend this projector to anyone who is thinking of buying one even though the model is a little old now i also would recommend the NEC brand as a whole.

I PICKED up one of these for 120 from ebay, baragsin, abit flikkery for 1080 Xbox360 but works a treat on one lower setting!

Any Problems: not reilly, lost the remote

Fantastic projector bought second hand for £300 off ebay and used in student accomadation against a white wall and later a projector screen. Even against a wall the picture was impressive given its age and specification. Bulbs are average price of £250 but ebay remedied this at £60. If not ceiling mounted plenty of room is needed for air circulation. Also can be tricky to get level for image but Keystone correction is handy.

Any Problems: Ambient room temperature raised during use i purchased a desktop fan for summer use. Would have liked the contrast to be a little higher but this is nit picking. Projector parts are expensive, a new lens is going to set me back £180. Look on ebay for spares/repairs always check price of lamps before purchasing projector.

I just got this projector today, and i only paid around $900.00 for it. I searched for the right projector for about 4 months, and after reading everything about lcd, dlp, and crt projectors i came to the conclusion that this is the one for me. As far as picture quality goes, its amazing! I dont even see a screen door effect, and im projecting it onto a white sheet using composite video cables. The short throw distance is amazing and setup is a cakewalk. Two thumbs up for this bad boy!
