3d is really really good
Review by Frank

Even though I’m not thrilled with the throw distance on this thing, it’s got an amazing performance with good source content. Watching transformers with the imax 3D is well worth the money

3d is really the best I’ve seen from this price range

I started out with the xgimi horizon as a free gift. I have a nice collection of 3D movies. The xgimi has 3D but not bright enough for my taste. I got the benq700sti, it was a little better. But then I tried this Gt1090HDRx, it was honestly when I decided this is what I was looking for. If I had the budget I’d go for even more lumens and short throw, lumens means better 3d, but you’re talking over 4,000 bucks for anything better at this point. Great projector, I wish the throw was just a tad longer, I’m losing the ceiling fan because of the throw distance. Xgimi has a perfect distance, benq has a perfect distance. However laser makes the whole world in a way picture quality brighter wise. Everything just pops more with the laser. Watching a blue ray 3d movie on this or just a standard blue ray with the insane large screen is just something to be proud of. It’s a true blessing to have this type of technology in my lifetime. This goes way way beyond those 1970s and 80s projectors. We have moved past Radio Schack technology now ??????
