Fabulous item. We have had ours for 2 years now. it even has survived a migration accross the world. Left UK in a solid metal padded flight case. Thanks to Brittish Airways - it arrived in a plastic bag and the case in stripps of metal - still works like new! Sturdy and great picture every time. I love mine with a passion!

Any Problems: Not yet, but I fear, (when the need arrises)getting a new bulb in Australia will be problematic.

Any Problems: None so far.

I have owned the H57 for about 2 months now and it has been a nice surprise. This is my first projector purchase and I was worried about it not being true HDTV resolution. No more worries. The detail and color is stunning on my 92inch Dalite screen. I have a friend with a 60inch DLP rear projection TV and he was blown away by the sharpness of the HDTV programs on this projector.

Any Problems: If there is any complaint about this projector it would be the instruction manual. A novice may have some difficult adjusting to their particular needs and the manual is not that helpful if you run into problems. This is a minor fault and once you have it set, it is beautiful!

This is my first projector and I have had this for 2 months now. The picture quality is really excellent for the price point ($2000 CDN). Video Games (e.g XBOX) are awesome and it has no problems keeping up with the fast movements (a common problem with Plasma's and LCD TVs). It is bright and is pretty quiet.

Any Problems: I used the manufacturers suggested projector distance for my screen size but had to adjust those measurements by a couple of inches in order to get a crisp picture. For a given screen size they give a range where your projector should be. I made the mistake of going near the maximum limit which resulted in a blurry picture. Be safe and place the projector well within the recommended range and stay clear of the upper and lower limits.

I really like the projector. For the price point, it's excellent. The picture quality is amazing and the brightness is good even in my fairly bright (ambient light) environment.

Any Problems: Twice now, the machine has locked up. Won't turn on or off when this happens. Both times I haad to unplug it and plug it back in. I'll probably have to have it checked out.

PROS-I've had the H57 now for about a month and I find the picture quality is great. The texture of the picture and the resolution is jaw dropping. I've played DVD's and alos HD with component and the picture quality is great. Running 92" and sitting about 14 feet from the screen.

Any Problems: The plastic case of the projector is cheap but I'm not going anywhere with it so I don't care.

The Optoma Theme Scene H57 has been on the market for quite a while now and we are yet to hear of a review from you!!!

The reason for buying this projector would be an incredible picture for a very reasonable price. The film-like image is contrasty and beautiful. Slight downsides: the white plastic casing is a little flimsy and there is no vertical picture shift meaning keystone correction becomes necessary. However this PJ is just incredible for picture.

The image is mind-blowing. Black is black and every color is so vivid. The projector is really easy to use, remote controller is equipped with cool blue light. The package also included various cables, HDMI-DVI adapter and a nice black bag for the projector. I highly recommend this projector to everyone who is interested in for buying a quality projector for incredible home theatre experiences!

Any Problems: Few times when I have switched off the projector the so called "cooling function" (the projector cools down for a couple of minutes) will continue for hours. The only way to stop it was to release the powercord.

Using the H57 for 2 months now and I still can't find fault with it. It Shines with every disc I play. The picture is sharp & clean, colors punchy, blacks are excellent. Setup is easy and the OSD is clear. The Unit feels strong and secure. Superb VFM.

Any Problems: Horizontal lens shift would have been nice and the remote zoom and focus but hey at the price you can not argue. This is a H77 less the above mentioned!

The H57 has an awesome image, very rich and life-like. Set-up is simple with an easy to use menu system. My only slight criticism is that the case is a bit more "plastic-y" than other models and feels somewhat flimsy. However, it has performed solidly.

Any Problems: None
