Write a ReviewThis projector is very well manufactured. With the availability of the M-1 connector, you can connect any HDMI Cable for fantastic 1080i HD. If you can find one at a great price, BUY IT!
Any Problems: The power supply will eventually fail IF YOU LEAVE THIS PROJECTOR PLUGGED INTO A OUTLET, even though the projector is not operational. REMEDY, connect it to a power strip that you can turn-off after use. This will eliminate a power supply failure.
We have several of these units and they all die suddenly. We have also had fan noise issues with a couple of them.
Any Problems: Sudden death and noisy fans
My company purchased 5 fo these units to go into the conference rooms of our new building. They were wonderful in the begining. Then, just a few weeks after the warranty expired the first one failed. Shortly there after 3 more failed. All of the units were ceiling mounted and stationary.
Any Problems: Then, just a few weeks after the warranty expired the first one failed. Shortly there after 3 more failed. All of the units were ceiling mounted and stationary. I dont recall what the exact problem was but we spent about $400 getting the unit repaired. Granted, our service company does charge high rates for repair, but to have an 80% failure rate is a price too high to pay.
BEST value for the money. I searched very hard for a projector that would give excellent movie quality at an affordable price. This is by far the BEST!
Fantastic unit, reliable, and fast startup, featues plus, great contrast, higher than a 1000:1 Benq. Smooth colors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Any Problems: Super reliable, no problems. Run 4300 hrs
I have compared my Proxima DP65ooX with other projectors before I made the purchase. My Proxima just seemed brighter then all the other projectors in this same catagory. I'm glad that I did.
Any Problems: Not yet, The carry case that it came with could be a little bigger so I could put my laptop in as well
very good image quality. the first unit that came had two dead pixels! unacceptable. so i got a replacement unit right away, which is working great now. the image is really good on this projector. very bright; very sharp and colorful. people who have seen it have said great things about it. when i first tried out the unit, i only had my wall to use as a screen. and it still looked great. i was watching a DVD in 480p. there are features lacking here that would really make it even more outstanding: lens shift; power focus(so you can control it from the remote); power zoom (again, from remote); more flexability in throw distance. i got a good price on the unit, so i rated the value-for-money high.
Any Problems: two dead pixels on the first unit.
