Runco Reflection CL-420 User Reviews
User Reviews
Write a ReviewI have never seen such a quality image come from a 720p projector. My AVguy and I setup the CL-420 on two folding chairs and hooked up only a regular DVD player. I have to say, it looked better than any other projector I have seen yet and that includes both the Ruby and the Pearl. This projector handles shading and blacks incredibly well, I cant wait to see what a Blu-ray will do for it.
Any Problems: We didnt have it calibrated or mounted appropriately.
I feel an animation about the review information from end users. I am the original designer of the CL-410’s Optical Engine that took me infinite pains. Thanks for your information sharing!
The 420 has a great picture in a dark or near dark room. I have not seen any rainbowing. I am shooting at 110 inches it is clear and the color jumps out. Blacks are good and contrast is good. I am using DVI for DVD's and have not added a tv input to it yet.
Any Problems: I have had it for two months with not issues.
Well, this unit is nice but very overpriced! I had a JVC DILA and it was better that this Runco unit I have now. I have learned "you get what you pay for" and in this case I strongly feel that the Runco is overpriced for the picture quallity you getting! KEEP SEARCHING!
Any Problems: Not the easiest in the world to set up properly.
I must say I was torn between a Infocus 5700 which I was using and the Runco CL420. My friend is a dealer for Runco and talked me into the Runco. It was a little more money than the Infocus but I have to say I am so glad I went with the Runco. The images are so crystal clear and the blues and blacks are incredible. I'll follow up with more info later as I've only had the projector for two weeks.
Any Problems: No problems so far
