The Runco VideoXtreme VX-55d Projector is a 1080P Home Theater Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 6,000 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1920x1080 . The internal DLP technology touts higher contrast, less visible pixels and more portability. The unique projector lens has the ability to be shifted to allow greater flexibility in positioning the projector relative to the screen. This projector was first available for purchase in October 2006 and has been by Runco.

- The VX-55d is supplied with Runco’s latest, next generation all digital DHD controller, featuring advanced Vivix II™ video processing, superb scaling and aspect ratio control. The VX-22d and DHD connect via an HDMI cable.
ANSI LUMENS is the most commonly accepted industry standard brightness measurement. The ANSI lumen rating measures the brightest white that a projector can produce by averaging nine light meter measurements taken across the projected image.
