As an initial adopter of the optoma pico pk101, I found that I was in search of a pico projector that overcame the shortcommings of the first generation. Brightness and resolution are of primary concern and here the samsung sp h03 doesn't dissapoint. Previously only capable of a murky 50 or 60 inch screen with dark scenes more an art in guesswork, the h03 allows for a comfortable 80" (dark room only) and a big boost in clarity (but nowhere near my hd70 of course) Inbuilt media player via micro sd, or usb key works fantastic, loaded several divx, photos, pdf's all with 0 problem. Buttons on the case work ok, not amazing however and once i couldnt get the projector to power off. Fan noise is a little whiney, think asus eeepc fan noise, but being a musician i'm highly sensitive to noise, it won't however intrude on your own listening pleasure just perhaps your wife sleeping next to you. All in all i think this is a great projector esp for the money, i guess the real competition is optoma's pk201 and pk301, but as i havnt tried them its hard to comment.
