The Sanyo PLC-XP18N Projector is a XGA Conference Room Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 2,000 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1024x768 . The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. This projector was first available for purchase in December 2000 and has been by Sanyo. The Sanyo PLC-XP18N was also marketed as the EIKI LC-X984. Sanyo is now part of the Panasonic Group and officially discontinued its production and sales of projectors in 2012.

ANSI LUMENS  is the most commonly accepted industry standard brightness measurement. The ANSI lumen rating measures the brightest white that a projector can produce by averaging nine light meter measurements taken across the projected image.
