A lot of light for the buck, but the remote is from hell.
Any Problems: This projector is not usable "as it is" in an event situation as you have to suffer through the horrible menu with the incredibly jumby cursor keys for even the most trivial of tasks. But it can be worked around by controlling it over the formidably hidden RS232 port. I wrote a piece of software to control the most important functions which runs on an old linux laptop. Ever since then it was totally usable.
Even though this projector is specified as a boardroom projector, it is a great medium duty projector for installations. I recently installed 3 of these in a church gymnasium and even with ambient light problems, they work great. Great value for a 4,000 lumen projector.
Any Problems: The remotes are useless over 10 feet but that problems is easily solved by hard wiring the remote with cable (this is actually my preferred method of remote control as most projectors have some degree of problems either distance or directivity).
A medium sized projector but it has a beautiful image. I've owned several projectors in the past and this one is exceptional. You can probably get it at way below the retail price too. Of course there are other projectors out there which are pretty darned good, but you won't be making a mistake getting this one.
Any Problems: no problems to date.
Great picture, excellent contrast, unbeatable price for features/performance. This has to be the best in class for XGA LCD projectors. At 4100 lumens it can be used in brightly lit classrooms or at greater conference rooms and outside cinema! The Network function makes it very easy to handle! Monster Tele-Zoom!!! Sanyo did it again!!
Any Problems: none
