The Sanyo PLV-1080HD Projector is a 1080P Home Theater Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 1,200 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1920x1080 . The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. The zoom lens on the Sanyo PLV-1080HD has an impressive zoom ratio of 2x combined with the ability to shift the lens which allows for flexibility in positioning. This projector was first available for purchase in November 2008 and has been by Sanyo. Sanyo is now part of the Panasonic Group and officially discontinued its production and sales of projectors in 2012.
