Very good illumination from center to edges. Picture is bright and clear, the power zoom and focus are wonderful. 1080i translation to the 720P projector is seamless, and stunning for HDTV use. Currently using with a 109" Greywolf screen, and am very pleased.

DON'T OWN, SAW A DEMO AT BEST BUY. PICTURE WAS VERY VERY NICE WITH DEMO DVD. NEEDS DIM ROOM. NICE COLORS, BRIGHTNESS AND CLARITY FOR THE MONEY,4K. MITS 900U VERY VERY CLOSE FOR 2.5K BUT A LITTLE LESS PICTURE WITH 567 LINES VS 720 LINES WITH THE DT400.

Any Problems: COMPARED TO TUBE, DARK SHIRTS LOOSE DETAIL FROM NOT ENOUGH BRIGHNESS. STADIUM FULL VEIW SCENES FROM A DISTANCE LOSE DETAIL, MAYBE FROM SOURCE.

I upgraded from a two year old lcd projector and I am pleased with this purchase. The picture is fantastic and colors seem realistic. The color red looks red whether in a dark , middle light or bright seens ; never orange or brown. Blacks are black no screen door and rainbow effect is not an issue.Fan noise is ok. Dvi input is sharp and depends on input source. Problems None so far

Excellent picture in HiDef. No pixelation issues. EDTV quality is good, but could be better. It is helped, somewhat, by iScan DVDO. Zoom helps makes installation and set-up easier.

I picked up one as a upgrade from the mitsubisi HC900/U, it was a big dif the extra res was great and if for xbox 360 the first one did have a bad componet video contrller chip but i switched it out with a new unit and every thing is smoth would recomend to any one who is on a budget and wants a great picture.

Any Problems: First Unit had a bad componet video conttroler chip. A Easy swap took care of that.
