Write a ReviewThis has been one of the most durable LCD projectors we have ever used, with excellent brightness and a fine picture. It was driven extremely hard for long periods and gave excellent service.
Any Problems: Over the long term, the LCD panels lost a lot of contrast and eventually showed characteristic color shift and color spot problems. Ultimately the outrageous repair cost estimate from Sony for these problems caused us to shelve the projector, even though we were perfectly satisfied with it as a product.
Awesome projector for the money. RGBHV inputs as well (if you want to take full advantage of the image) Been using several of these at our church for years.
Any Problems: Remote control could be better designed. You have to toggle through all the inputs instead individual input buttons. Notice image suffers slightly after about 1000hrs on bulb.
Great picture, excellent contrast, unbeatable price for features/performance. This has to be the best in class for XGA LCD projectors. At 2400 lumens it can be used in brightly lit classrooms or at greater conference rooms!
Any Problems: none
