The Sony VPL-PX30 Projector is a XGA Conference Room Projector. This lamp based projector is capable of displaying 2,400 Lumens at its brightest setting with a native resolution of 1080x768 . The internal 3LCD technology is an innovative 3-chip design that sets itself apart by delivering vibrant, true-to-life images with better color brightness and a wider color gamut. This projector was first available for purchase in December 1999 and has been by Sony.

ANSI LUMENS  is the most commonly accepted industry standard brightness measurement. The ANSI lumen rating measures the brightest white that a projector can produce by averaging nine light meter measurements taken across the projected image.
