I'm using this projector to do live vj performances, it has fallen out from 2mtrs high and it still works!i bought it extremely cheap, i'd say its a military projector, its really reliable.

Any Problems: The colors are not the best, its too heavy ( as i bring it every week to gigs), the fan is loud (its not a problem for me, as i dont use it at home) There is no keystone in it. Low lumens, but enough for home theatre use.

I have been using this projector for 6 years now, business and pleasure. It is a real work horse, and very reliable. No Keystone correction makes placement critical, but for the years of reliability I wouldn't trade it.

Any Problems: None except the remote no longer works well, but more from abuse (drops etc.) than product defect.

I have owned the VPL-S900 for five or six years now, and I bought it used! It is a true "workhorse" with no problems encountered with home theater use. Hours and hours of LaserDisc and DVD movies and the bulb is still working! I will eventually replace in favor of HDTV compatible and increase resolutions, but this is a real gem.

Any Problems: None that were not my fault!

Have had the projecter about a year and not have had any problems. Im using it for home theater and have scince been getting Ohhhss and ahhhhhs.

Any Problems: Have not gotten a good offer to sell, but I will.

Nice beamer, unfortunately no key stone correction, lot of fan noise (maybe only older versions mine has aprox 1000 hours)

Any Problems: the fans do make some noice, replaced the fan at the bottom (air intake) for a low noice one, and now the one at the front makes noise (air out). Had problems with different type of fans, than the beamer will not start, now the originals are still connected and placed outside the chassis without fanblades and the silent ones work on an external powersupply...yes it looks like a mess, but now I don't hear the hum any more.

I got a great deal and was a bit sceptical but the past 3 years have been AWESOME and it still shows like the day I bought it. I am using it for my Home theater.

Over 25,000 hours on projector (with bulb replacements) and clear/bright image! White balance a little difficult at that age, seems to tend toward green a little.

This is one of the most reliable projector out there. Sony VPLS600,X600,S900,X1000. These projector is very reliable, The lamp last very long. I have seen the operation timer on these unit over 30,000 hour of use. some of the other projector won't last for 2,000 hour.

Any Problems: Blue filter will burnt, just replaced it doesn't cost that much.
