The names Stewart Filmscreen and Kaleidescape are both known in the home theater world for providing world-class products that support the best experiences possible in your home. And now the two companies have teamed up to offer a deal for anyone looking to upgrade their theater.
Stewart screens have long been a top choice for professionals and enthusiasts alike (including yours truly) that need a high-quality reference screen in their theater. If you purchase a screen-masking system from Stewart Filmscreen's Director's Choice, VistaScope, or WallMask product lines between now and December 31, 2022, you will get $1,000 off MSRP of any qualifying Kaleidescape system.
The Director's Choice comes in four versions—Director's Choice EVO, Director's Choice 100, Director's Choice 200, and Director's Choice 300—and can be up to a maximum height and width (with the 300) of 168.5 x 300 inches. It has four-way masking and you can choose a variety of screen materials, including SnoMatte 100 (used in many post-production facilities) and Stewart's new Harmony G2 acoustically transparent material.
For a two-mask option that provides a constant image height for aspect ratios ranging from 2.4:1 down to 1.33:1, there's the VistaScope EVO and VistaScope 300. As with the Director's Choice, both the Harmony G2 and SnoMatte 100 screen material is a recommended choice for the frame in addition to another 10 options.
The WallMask is a fixed frame screen masking system with the option for two-way vertical masking, two-way horizontal masking, or both together for a four-way system. The masking on all of the aforementioned Stewart Filmscreen products is motorized and can be operated with Stewart's Continuous Variable Masking (CVM) control system that can interface with all current theater automation systems.
