I purchased a projector from this company based on an earlier purchase 8 years ago. This was a much different experience.
Issue #1 - the receipt and all correspondence comes from Tierney Brothers (?) and no mention of my extended service plan (in the receipt nor provided information). This has the feeling of the Chinese shell stores that are created in the US, though it isn't.
Issue #2 - They sent the package as Adult Signature Required. I found this out after the UPS guy had left a note on a Friday evening when I got home. Sorry kids, we have to cancel our planned Movie night. I don't have a problem with the requirement, but TELL ME and I'll ship it to a place where there will be an adult that can sign for it.
Issue #3 - Called to ask them to coordinate with UPS and have it shipped after a certain time. The person that could help me was "in a meeting." Left a message at 3pm Friday. They called me back Monday afternoon, too late to do anything about it. Had they called me back on Friday, UPS would have been able to reschedule their delivery.
Issue #4 - When they did call me back, their solution was for me to drive 30 miles to the UPS warehouse to pick up my order. The entire point of ordering on the internet and paying for shipping (though included with this order) is so that I don't have to drive anywhere. Best Buy is 5 miles away.
Issue #5 - UPS "left" it in the warehouse and it wasn't delivered on Monday after I had coordinated with an adult to stay at my house ALL DAY. Not the sellers fault. Since UPS messed this part up, they called and apologized and went out of their way to make sure that it was delivered at a time that was convenient for me on Tuesday.
Issue #6 - No "Sorry about that." "Anything we can do to make it better?" or other acknowledgement that I have spent $4000 with this company over two orders and they want to continue any business.
They got two stars because the first order 8 years ago was issue free.

Purchased Panasonic PT-AE8000U just yesterday. I haven't received it yet, but with all of the reviews I can't see me other than completely satisfied.
So the reason for this pre-mature posting... is for the OUTSTANDING... let me repeat... COMPLETELY OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM SHAWN GODFREY at ProjectorPoint.com. Not only is he extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but knows how to satisfy a customer and make him feel comfortable about such a large priced purchase. I'm so happy I went to projectorpoint.com for my purchase.
IN THE FUTURE I WILL ALWAYS VISIT THIS COMPANY BEFORE I GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I got a great deal on the bracket, extra glasses and the projector itself.. for me it was a one-stop-shopping experience.
