Optoma ZK507-W 4K with mount ordered.
It showed in stock.
But then it didn't ship. So, I tried looking up the status, but their website was under (re)construction and I was unable to access my account.
So I contacted them. They said it's actually backordered (even though it STILL indicated in stock.) But it'd be available the following month. Note that they never sent me a message or anything indicating the backordered status.
The following month passes, still nothing, and I'm still not able to access my account. I try resetting my password numerous times, and still can't access. I finally figure that out... passwords containing & are accepted during the reset, but don't work for login (even though & is explicitly listed as a choice by the website.)
Status still doesn't indicate backordered. I asked for a status update. I never got one.
Another month passes. I'm ready to cancel at this point. But I login, and it is showing cancelled! But I never cancelled it, and I never received a cancellation notification.
I contact them to complain that they cancelled without telling me anything. They say, yep, cancelled by our support department.
Frankly, I'm summarizing here. There were more steps than I've listed, none of them pleasant.
Totally unpleased with the whole experience.
In fairness, this all occurred during the pandemic, but I gave them more than a little grace multiple times and they just were awful.

The order was placed during the Covid shutdown where most employees were not working on-site except for the warehouse manager. Your order was lost in the shuffle and should not have been. We value all of our customers and will use this message as a learning curve for the future. We have been in business for over 12 years and in my memory, this is the first such experience. We were having some technical issues which were all addressed as we switched over our operating platform to increase the level of cyber security. All of these issues have been since addressed and fixed.
