As of today, they are actively producing 23 shows and touring productions, and Cirque's parent company, the Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, operates divisions involved in creating custom entertainment for theme parks, special events, multimedia productions, and other avenues. More than 400 million people across six continents and 86 countries have attended Cirque performances, and the firm employs 4,000, including 1,200 artists.
