News and Updates

Hi folks,

We are in the midst of a major screen review at the moment that will include both white and gray screens from various manufacturers. We hope this will answer a lot of the questions we get regarding which screens are right for which applications. The review won't be done for a while yet--these things take time, and I don't have a publication date.

Many of you have already hooked up with NetFlix as a great source of DVDs. For those who have not yet signed up with NetFlix, read this for more info and set up an account if it sounds good to you. Setting up the NetFlix service through ProjectorCentral is a great way to support our site, and we appreciate all the support we can get.

In response to the email inquiries asking about reviews, yes we expect review units for the Optoma H30, the BenQ 6100, and BenQ 6200 to arrive before too long, and yes, we intend to review them as soon as we can.

By the way, Sanyo has informed us that the WF10 large venue unit will be available with a DVI/HDCP board in the May/June timeframe. The WF10 review has been updated to include this info. Units being ordered today can be upgraded to include that feature. A firmware update will be required. Please consult your Sanyo dealer for more details.

Thanks very kindly for your use of ProjectorCentral,

Evan Powell
