Toshiba to Showcase New Line of Projectors During InfoComm 07
New Toshiba Presentation Solutions Offer Exceptional Feature Sets
During InfoComm 07, at the Marriott Anaheim, Platinum Ballroom #6, Toshiba will demonstrate its latest lineup of high-quality, feature-rich projectors including ultra-small Pico portables, "extreme short projection" technology, projectors with WXGA resolution, and projectors that are Windows (R) Vista certified for wireless capabilities.
"Toshiba greatly expanded its market presence specifically in education and business when it was the first manufacturer to offer a mobile projector with an integrated document camera," said Sam Malik, director of projector sales and marketing, Toshiba Digital Products Division. "Toshiba is dedicated to transforming the classroom by empowering educators with the best visual tools for a hands-on learning experience, as well as providing business presenters with innovative features to improve their presentations."
As a major player in the small projector market, Toshiba will discuss the latest in ultra-small Pico portable projectors. These digital projectors not only possess a small footprint for easy mobility and storage, but also allow presenters to go "PC-free" via USB functionality. Equipped with a generous array of connectivity ports, they are suitable for any presentation environment, including digital home entertainment.
Toshiba will demonstrate features such as "extreme short projection" (ESP) technologies which projects a larger image from a shorter distance, enhancing presentations in small meeting rooms, offices or classrooms. Projectors with ESP functionality do not require ceiling installation which makes them highly portable and they can produce a 100-inch diagonal image from just 4.1 feet away. A special lens enables these projectors to be positioned at various table heights such as a desk, conference room table or a coffee table.
Also, projectors with WXGA native resolution will be exhibited. These widescreen projectors are designed to widen your work space by matching the latest widescreen notebook computers and their resolution for impressively sharp education and business presentations, even with fine text detail. The widescreen presentation format expands display real estate, offering users the option to view two documents at once for side-by-side comparison or for enjoying the latest DVD movies.
In addition, Toshiba will display Windows Vista(TM) ready and certified projector offerings for seamless connectivity with notebooks installed with Microsoft's latest operating system.
