New Christie LX900 Inorganic LCD Projector Delivers 9,000 ANSI Lumens from Dual Lamp Design

Press Release  |  Jan 29, 2008
Amsterdam/INTEGRATED SYSTEMS EUROPE – (January 29, 2008) – Christie, a leader in award winning, high-quality projectors and display products introduces the new Christie LX900. Part of Christie’s line of inorganic 3-chip LCD projectors, it features a powerful 9,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio from a dual lamp, optical engine. With high brightness and exceptional image clarity, the Christie LX900 projector is the ideal solution for large conference rooms, medium-size auditoriums, and staging applications where power and flexibility are essential.

Featuring the latest inorganic 3-chip LCD technology, the Christie LX900 provides richer black levels and sharper detail, particularly for video sources. Combined with enhanced 10-bit video processing, presentations have natural color tone reproduction, greater picture stability without image noise, and smooth video playback.

The Christie LX900 also utilizes a new AutoFilter system, featuring a long lasting cartridge filter that automatically rotates to a new section every 1,000 hours. With a life of up to 10,000 hours under normal conditions, service and maintenance intervals are extended, reducing the total cost of ownership. The length of time between filter rotations can also be set to shorter intervals to accommodate environmental conditions.

“The Christie LX900 is powerful and flexible enough to meet the needs of virtually any installation, featuring a customized body design that allows for quick and easy stacking of two units, to double brightness levels,” stated Frank Anzures, product manager, LCD, Business Products. “The projector’s dual lamp optical engine delivers incredible brightness with less maintenance and a lower cost of ownership. It’s truly a full-feature projector with industry leading technology.”

The Christie LX900 ships in body-only format, and features 10 optional lenses providing integrators the flexibility to select the perfect lens for the right installation. It also offers a native XGA resolution, with compatibility up to UXGA for data sources and HD video up to 1080p. Its range of input modules adapt to virtually any signal requirements including HD-SDI sources.
