Draper Introduces AutoReturn Manual Screens

Press Release  |  Jun 10, 2008
Spiceland, Ind.) – Draper Inc. has announced an important new improvement in spring roller-operated, pull-down projection screens. The AutoReturn Roller prevents potential damage to the dowel or screen surface through repeated impact with the case. With AutoReturn, the screen unrolls in the conventional manner, and slowly and gently retracts to the closed position after a simple tug on the handle.

The AutoReturn spring roller includes a built-in inertia reduction mechanism for manual wall and ceiling screens manufactured by Draper. The screen returns slowly and smoothly into the case, slowing even more as it approaches its upper limit with a simple pull and release—no repetitive tugging or downward momentum is required to engage the AutoReturn Roller. Intermediate stop positions allow you to lower the screen completely, or stop at any point in between.
