Designed for corporate and education markets, the new BrilliantColor projectors from Sharp (models PG-F317X, PG-F312X, PG-F262X and PG-F212X) provide enhanced colors and enriched images, utilizing Texas Instruments' BrilliantColor multi-color processing. A 6-segment color wheel adds yellow and cyan segments to improve color reproduction while maintaining high brightness, ensuring that all projected images are uniform. The four projectors feature built-in DVI-I/HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) to support digital video content in high definition and for a secure virtually noise-free digital connection, as well RS-232C connectivity so IT support departments can remotely check projector lamp life or provide operation support. The PG-F317X adds a built-in network connection with a RJ-45 LAN Connector for remote control and access by a Web browser for diagnostics and automatic e-mail of product status. With XGA native resolution, high brightness (3000 ANSI lumens on the PG-F317X and PG-F312X, 2600 ANSI lumens on the PF-F262X, and 2300 ANSI lumens on the PG-F212X) and 2200:1 contrast ratio for high-image quality, these projectors are ideal for detailed, intricate presentations. The projectors need no filter and less maintenance, resulting in lower cost of ownership and longer use. Closed caption is also built-in, with black and white text for easy readability.
