VIVITEK BRINGS TWO NEW VERSITILE PROJECTORS TO CES FOR HOME OR PROFESSIONAL MARKETS

LAS VEGAS, January 8, 2009 – Vivitek Corporation, a leader in the environmentally responsible manufacture of today’s most innovative visual display and presentation products, is announcing two unique additions to its projector line-up, the D935VX and the D940VX, at this year’s 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. As with all of Vivitek’s projector products, both units use the latest DLP technology from Texas Instruments, enabling sharp displays with outstanding image quality. Crafted as a selection for either home or professional use, the new projectors are both HDTV ready and have full PC connectivity and compatibility.

The 3000 ANSI lumens from the D935VX and 4300 ANSI lumen capabilities on the D940VX offer exceptional brightness and vibrant colors in a sturdy and stylish form, with a low price tag of only $1,799 and $2,199 respectively. Both projectors have a full 2400:1 luminosity contrast ratio for crisp, rich, and accurate color details and replication.

Vivitek’s two new projectors also offer complete connectivity with HDMI, and USB and RJ45 capability. The 720p and 1080i HDTV formats afford high vertical resolution for quality video reproduction and the native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution in each unit guarantees sharpness and clarity. For ease of use, whether mounted on a wall or placed on a table, picture adjustment is precise on the new projectors with onboard, digital, vertical Keystone correction. For increased functionality in the home, office, or the classroom, each unit is equipped with its own fully featured IR remote with laser pointer and mouse. Both projectors also come with their own carrying case for protected and convenient portability.

As with all of Vivitek’s projector products, the D935VX and D940VX are designed with Vivitek’s consideration for cost-effective and environmentally sound features. The two projectors are of a dust- and filter-free design minimizing maintenance and replacement needs, and allowing the projector to always run at top energy efficient levels and eliminating unnecessary refuse.

Pricing, Availability, Warranty
Vivitek’s D935VX and D40VX are available now through authorized Vivitek dealers and distributors nationwide. The projectors both have three-year limited warranties on parts and labor, a 1-year lamp warranty, and a 5-year DLP chip warranty.
