projectiondesign® introduces LED projector for simulation applications
The FL32 is the company’s first solid-state LED-based projection system that uses the company’s new RealLED™ technology resulting in greatly enhanced image performance and ultra-low maintenance requirements. ReaLED technology is projectiondesign’s unique implementation of high performance solid state LED illumination technology, paired with the patented optical system of the F32 platform projectors.
The FL32 projector reduces visible image artefacts over competing technologies and products by taking away any motion smear and blur, colour separation artefacts, and image processing related flaws.
Furthermore, image and projector performance is independent of orientation and position allowing it to be installed in any configuration. Key markets for the FL32 projector are motion platform simulators, training systems as well as rear projection monitoring installations.
“With our revolutionary new FL32 projector, we make available the perfect building blocks for scalable and durable systems, and promise extremely low operating and ownership costs. There is no longer the need to replace consumables during the projector’s working life, ensuring a very high degree of colour accuracy and image performance,” explains Anders Løkke, International Marketing & Communications Manager at projectiondesign.
The FL32 projector uses projectiondesign’s unique RealColor colour management suite for accurate calibration and setup. Packed with all the installation, technology and resolution benefits to be found in the company’s F32 series projectors, the new FL32 projector features greatly enhanced colour reproduction, and formidable dynamic imaging. A wide range of projection lenses is available for added installation flexibility.
“We are excited about launching the brand new FL32 projector to the simulation and training audience at ITEC. ITEC is the perfect environment to demonstrate to our loyal partners, end users and potential customers alike the installation flexibility, image qualities and benefits of this new technology, especially in the challenging economic climate where maintenance and operation efficiencies are increasingly important,” adds Løkke.
The FL32 from projectiondesign will debut on stand G142 at ITEC 2009 which takes place from 12–14 May 2009 at BrusselsExpo, Brussels, Belgium – administrative centre of the European Union, the European Commission and NATO Headquarters.
