EPSON’S NEW ‘POWERLITE PRESENTER’ GIVES TEACHERS THE ULTIMATE PRESENTATION TOOL
Projector/DVD/Speaker Combo Delivers Image Quality and Full Sound in a Portable, Easy to Use Solution
Offering WXGA resolution and 2,500 lumens color light output and 2,500 lumens white light output , the PowerLite Presenter features an integrated DVD player, two 10-watt virtual surround sound speakers, microphone input, and closed captioning. It also includes USB Plug ‘n Play connectivity, a feature that allows for quicker and easier setup and presentation of digital materials by eliminating the hassle of dealing with bulky VGA cables and screws and toggling between computer keys. Leveraging Epson’s latest, 3-chip 3LCD optical engine, the PowerLite Presenter delivers amazing images with vibrant color and detail.
“The PowerLite Presenter is Epson’s first ever all-in-one projector solution created specifically with the needs of educators in mind,” said Heather Litus Johnston, product manager, K-12 Education Marketing, Epson America Inc. “Now teachers can easily and conveniently expand their multimedia content options and command greater attention with beautiful image quality and powerful integrated speakers that will help their lessons come to life.”
While educators may connect the PowerLite Presenter to classroom computers, they can also opt to use the projector’s USB Type A port using a USB memory device such as a thumbstick or iPod® to show their materials. In addition, educators may project classroom photos in large format with the included Slideshow Viewer. The PowerLite Presenter also includes a microphone input, allowing teachers to amplify their voice using a microphone and the included speakers to reduce strain on their voices and keep students’ attention.
Epson’s exclusive E-TORL® lamp technology offers more lumens per watt than lamps used with competitive projection technology with similar lumens specification. This allows for increased energy efficiency and cost savings over time as using E-TORL lamp technology can result in up to 4,000 hours of lamp life in economy mode3. Another convenient feature is a brightness sensor that measures the room’s ambient light, which automatically selects the projector’s most ideal color mode to maximize image quality.
Epson also offers the Brighter Futures® program, a unique sales and support initiative that is available specifically for schools. Designed to help educators select and implement the best products for their classrooms while making the most of their budgets, Brighter Futures offers special pricing, extended Epson limited warranty coverage for three years, dedicated education account managers, and toll-free technical support for all Epson projectors.
