VIVITEK ENHANCES PROJECTOR LINE-UP WITH SHORT-THROW DIGITAL PROJECTORS

ORLANDO, FL, June 17, 2009 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of environmentally innovative visual display and presentation products, added two new short-throw digital projectors to its product line-up, the D520ST and D525ST. Designed for smaller settings, the Vivitek D520ST and D525ST provide large projected images.

The Vivitek D520ST and D525ST both feature 2600 lumens of brightness and 2300:1 contrast ratio. The D525ST offers a native XGA (1024x768) resolution and the D520ST is a native SVGA (800x600) projector. Both projectors can deliver a projected image of 23-inches to as large as 300-inches (diagonal) at throw ratios of 0.9 (D520ST) and 0.9 – 1.0 (D525ST). The D520ST and D525ST also include: an enhanced wall color adjustment feature, seven pre-set enhanced display modes and color adjustments to ensure users get unsurpassed pictures.

With a built-in presentation timer and keypad locks, the D520ST and D525ST are ideal solutions in managing presentations and preventing accidental system adjustments. Both projectors weigh four pounds and are quiet at 29dB (ECO mode), making the D520ST and D525ST the perfect choice for classrooms, boardrooms or any setting where space is limited.

The Vivitek D520ST and D525ST have a multiple selection of I/O ports including: HDMI, Composite Video, S-Video and RS-232c. These projectors also feature DLP® technology for clear and vivid presentation images.

The projectors come with a card-type IR remote. The D520ST and D525ST projectors are designed filter- and dust-free, enabling cool and efficient operation while eliminating the need to replace or discard filters. This also keeps the projector running at tope energy efficient levels.

Pricing/Availability/Warranty
The D520ST and D525ST projectors will be available in October through authorized Vivitek dealers and distributors. The D520ST carries an estimated MSRP of $699 and the D525ST will be at an estimated MSRP of $799. Both projectors carry a three (3)-year limited warranty on parts and labor and a 90-day lamp warranty.
