Fujitsu Sets the Stage for Convergent Visual Medium(TM) Through High Brightness LCD Projectors and XGA Imaging

Press Release  |  Jan 4, 2000

FAIRFIELD, N.J., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Clear, undistorted images at SXGA, SVGA and VGA modes are now available via a line of XGA projectors led by the new LPF-8200 Liquid Crystal Projector from Fujitsu General America, Inc. (FGA).

The top of the line is the new LPF-8200 Liquid Crystal Projector with brightness of 2300 ANSI Lumens. Not only does the Fujitsu XGA projector show clear, undistorted images even at SXGA/SGVA/VGA modes, but any part of the screen can be maximized by 2 to 64 times and features Picture in Picture mode. This model is but one of a full line of LCD projectors, each featuring the artisanship and quality of Fujitsu.

"These LCD models feature ANSI Lumens ranging from 780 to 2300, ensuring high brightness with extremely high quality imaging. Because of Fujitsu General's liquid crystal technology, these projectors can even be used in well-lit rooms without losing clarity at the edges, making them perfect for a home theater," stated Tedd Rozylowicz, vice president sales and marketing for FGA. "They are DVD compatible and adjustable +/-14.3 degrees simply by using the manual lens shift. They're also lightweight enough (ranging from 14.6 to 53.3 lbs.) that they can be moved from home to office with little effort."

Fujitsu General America is a subsidiary of Fujitsu General Limited, Kawasaki, Japan. Fujitsu General America manufactures a range of leading edge projectors and plasma display monitors and is the creator of the Plasmavision SlimScreen(TM).
