New Mitsubishi Projectors Bring Style Into the Boardrooms of the New Millennium
Customized Wood Grain Finishes on High-end LCD Projectors Designed to Complement Executive-Level Decor
CYPRESS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2000--Mitsubishi Presentation Products, creator of the industry's broadest line of award-winning projection and conference room display products, is taking orders for the first of its exclusive LCD projectors sculpted with real "executive style" in mind.
Mitsubishi's X200 and X300 high-end projectors are now available with the same, elegant wood-grain textured finishes being incorporated by professional designers into the world's premier meeting and conference rooms.
"Mitsubishi first took this customized elegance to the desktop with its line of LCD monitor products," said James Chan, Mitsubishi's product manager for projectors. "We immediately realized that the same executive appeal applied to the boardroom and that the cachet was probably even stronger in this venue. It was obvious that if the goal was to impress, then the boardroom was the perfect place to do it. You can now not only dazzle your customers with your presentation, but with the presentation device as well."
The new boardroom pieces are the product of a joint venture between Mitsubishi and Oberhofer Hand-Crafted Computers, Inc. This endeavor represents the first time this art form has been applied to LCD projectors.
The Mitsubishi "Oberhofer Executive Boardroom Edition" also includes the accompanying remote control. The two projectors are both wall mountable so, for some applications or for multiple boardrooms, Mitsubishi makes the customized remote control available by itself if the projector is to be placed out of view.
The price difference between the regular projectors, with remote, and the customized version is only $499 and the remote can be ordered alone for $79. Order processing will take approximately four to six weeks as each projector is hand-detailed in one of the four customized finishes, executive burlwood, plush cherrywood, golden cherrywood and natural maple.
The projectors are equipped with all of the high-end features and innovative technology that made them industry award winners.
High-end Feature Set
Enhanced Lamp Technology - The X300 provides 2000 ANSI lumens and the X200 1200, making them the brightest of any projectors at their weight. They both have user-changeable, long-life, short arc, high efficiency lamps. The Mitsubishi presentation technology creates clear and crisp images up to 300 inches in both units, perfect for any of the diverse lighting situations typical of most companies' presentation venues.
Picture-in-Picture - To make the most of any presentation and add significant dazzle and capabilities, the X300 and X200 are also equipped with Mitsubishi's popular picture-in-picture feature. Any two input sourced images, such as text and video, may be displayed active simultaneously. The window is movable and sizeable to support even the most creative presentation design.
Video Quality - While both projectors exhibit some of the highest levels of video available, the X300 contains the most advanced optics and video algorithms in the projector industry. This patented technology enables it to display beautiful video quality rivaling today's high-end video televisions and satisfying even the most demanding home theater enthusiasts.
Point-n-Zoom Digital Magnification - Like the best of the fixed installation units, the X300 and X200 allow presenters to select and enlarge areas of the display requiring special attention such as spreadsheets, photographic images or highly detailed CAD/CAM schematics for full-screen, easy-view displays. The zoom feature also enlarges the selected area to full screen size and brings the viewing audience up close to the information.
Support and Warranty
The customized projectors are backed by a three-year Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) Program, providing a three-year parts and labor warranty, a 30-day warranty on the light source, and 7-day toll-free support.
