Hitachi Integrates Luidia's eBeam Technology; Introduces Ultimate Interactive Short Throw Projectors

eBeam technology revolutionizes interactive short throw projectors with digital capabilities that enhance delivery of information, capture input, and elevate viewer engagement and group collaboration
AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Luidia, Inc., the innovative developer of interactive technology and solutions, today announced that Hitachi's projector division has selected Luidia's award-winning eBeam® technology to power Hitachi's Ultimate Short Throw Interactive Projector.

The new Hitachi iPJ-AW250N incorporates Luidia's award-winning eBeam interactive technology to create a premium platform for capturing and sharing ideas by transforming flat surfaces into interactive and collaborative workspaces. The announcement was made today at the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) Conference in Austin, Texas.

"Hitachi is dedicated to providing solutions for the Education and Business Projector Market," said Hiroki Nakano, Senior Manager of the Hitachi Projector Marketing Department. "We chose to partner with Luidia for our Ultimate Interactive Projector because their technology is leading edge. As a result, we are able to give users affordable solutions, requiring almost no time to transform any flat surface into an interactive workspace."

The Hitachi iPJ-AW250N turns any standard whiteboard or smooth surface into an interactive area, giving educators, engineers, architects, business users, and manufacturing departments powerful interactive capabilities without the expense and hassle of a traditional interactive whiteboard (IWB).

"More and more OEMs recognize the advantages that Luidia brings to enable interactivity. Hitachi's announcement is another endorsement of our ability to deliver eBeam technology and closely partner with major OEMs," said Roy Erez, Luidia Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development. "eBeam's small footprint allows OEMs to easily integrate interactivity without compromising design, style and functionality. When combined with eBeam's award winning technology, a foundation is formed to develop premium interactive products. Our industry-leading design methodology reduces the development cycle so manufacturers can create premium products that end users demand."
