LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 2000-- Proxima(R) Corp., the global leader in multimedia presentation and conferencing solutions, announced today the addition of two new conference room projectors to its line of systems solutions products, the Proxima DP9240 and Proxima DP9260.

Both projectors are ideally suited for conference room use, feature HDTV-ready compatibility, and come equipped with Proxima's new V-Scan(TM) Digital Video Technology which provides the sharpest video image available from an LCD projector. These new Proxima products also offer digital keystone correction for a square image and optional short- and long-throw lenses for tabletop use or installation in any conference room.

Meeting Market Needs

Whether installed in a conference room or moved from training room to boardroom, Proxima's DP9240 is a workhorse that combines flexibility and cost-effective operation with 1600 ANSI lumens. For use in rooms with up to 75 people, this new Proxima projector provides quality presentations and video images in small- to medium-size conference rooms and classrooms.

With 2200 lumens of brightness, Proxima's DP9260 is the performance leader where brightness is a key factor. Designed to project a quality image in even the brightest lighting conditions such as conference rooms, small auditoriums, large training rooms, and board rooms, the DP9260 projector offers quality video images and presentations for larger audiences and work groups of up to 150 people.

The new Proxima DP9240 and DP9260 offer a full range of performance features:

Price and Availability

The DP9240 and DP9260 are scheduled for general availability in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia in May 2000 through Proxima's worldwide network of VARs and resellers. The MSRP for the DP9240 is US$8,999; the DP9260 MSRP is US$11,999.
