Infocus Unveils a New Series of Value-Packed Network Projectors
IN2120 series ideal for larger conference rooms and classrooms
PORTLAND, OR, May 16, 2012 (MARKETWIRE) -- InFocus Corp., a digital display technology leader and visual collaboration champion, today unveiled its new IN2120 series of value-packed network projectors. The ultra-affordable and network-ready IN2124 and IN2126 feature sharp, bright images and advanced networking capabilities ideal for larger conference rooms and classrooms.
The lowest-priced network projectors ever offered by InFocus, the new IN2120 projectors can be controlled remotely over the network using a browser, making them easy to monitor and flexible for a wide variety of use cases, such as displaying emergency announcements. Compatible with ProjectorNet(TM) 3.0, InFocus's free asset management software, these projectors enable users to schedule automatic power-downs and receive instant email notifications for low lamp life or theft-prevention notices when a projector goes suddenly offline.
The new IN2120 projectors are loaded with connectivity options to give users the ability to project stunning presentations from PCs, Macs, video sources, tablets, and smartphones. Equipped with a high 4000:1 contrast ratio, these new network projectors feature DLP technology with InFocus BrilliantColor(TM) and 3200 lumens of brightness to ensure sharp and bright presentations even in larger meeting rooms or rooms with high ambient lighting.
These 3D-ready projectors are easy to move from room to room or install in one location with a slim design weighing only 4.8 pounds and measuring only 2.7 inches tall. The IN2120 projectors can also go wireless when connected to the optional InFocus LiteShow III wireless adapter, which enables users to quickly transmit data, audio, and video over a secure wireless connection within a 300-foot range.
Simple to use, the IN2124 and IN2126 include preset modes to quickly optimize image quality on beige walls, whiteboards, blackboards, and other surfaces. The IN2120 series is rated for 24/7 operation and is easy to maintain with no filters to replace and long-lasting lamps that are easy to access even when installed.
The IN2126 is InFocus's most affordable widescreen network projector and features native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution and 3200 lumens of brightness in a sleek case weighing only 4.8 pounds.
"InFocus's new IN2120 network projectors pack a big punch of brightness and connectivity options at an ultra-affordable price point," said Dave Duncan, InFocus Product Marketing Manager. "These projectors are ideal for businesses and schools that need the flexibility of a network-connected projector without breaking the bank. At the same time, the new IN2120 projectors are packed with features, as well as the high quality and longevity our customers expect from InFocus products."
