Optoma Unveils a Complete Line of Sleek, Ultraportable Digital Light Processor (DLP) Projectors at InfoComm 2000, Anaheim, California

Optoma Demonstrates Its Sophisticated Designs and Commitment To DLP(TM)(Digital Light Processor) Technology by Introducing a Complete Line Of State-of-the-Art DLP(TM) Projectors at the Large Screen Display Industry's Largest Annual Exhibition

ANAHEIM, Calif., InfoComm 2000, June 15 - Optoma Technology, Inc. (Formerly CTX Opto, Inc.), a leading provider of advanced display products, has announced its latest DLP(TM) (Digital Light Processing) additions to its award-winning EzPro series of portable projectors. At InfoComm in Anaheim, California, the most influential trade show for the Professional Audio-Visual and presentation products industry, Optoma introduces its sleek, state-of-the-art, sub-five pound DLP(TM) projector family which now includes the EzPro 715, EzPro 718, EzPro 710, and EzPro 705.

Optoma's technological expertise has made the company's line of DLP(TM) projectors a favorite with business communicators the world over. The company's line of DLP(TM) projectors are designed with a sleek tower style that minimizes most keystone issues, eliminates hot spots, and enables faster setup. "Compared to the horizontal or flat design projectors, Optoma's tower style design projectors also have superior heat dissipation performance, with more surface exposure to the air thereby reducing thermal problems and increasing the projector's overall performance and lamp life," said Kevin Shih, Director of Product Management for Optoma Technology.

"Mobile professionals continue to demand presentation tools that are lightweight, have superior quality, and are highly affordable in order to meet their needs in demanding professional environments," said Joe Mancini, Director of Pro-AV Sales at Optoma. "Optoma is fully committed to meeting and satisfying the presentation requirements of our customers by delivering the most advanced features in affordable presentation solutions, like our new EzPro DLP(TM) 7xx series."
