PDPs are an ideal display solution, bringing big-screen performance to the desktop, boardroom, storefront, industrial plant control facility or mobile vehicle, among other applications. Featuring leading-edge plasma display technology, Hitachi's panels offer rich and stunning high-resolution pictures, multiscan capability, video inputs, full immunity to magnetic fields and a 160-degree viewing angle for easy viewing from any position.
Interactive Rear Projection Unit
Hitachi proudly presents its 52-inch Rear Projection LDX unit. Featuring Liquid Crystal Display technology and PC capabilities, Hitachi's 52LDX99B accepts XGA signals and displays images up to SVGA resolution. The set utilizes a lightweight 1.6-inch Liquid Crystal Display panel that replaces traditional picture tubes and guns producing bright, clear pictures unmarred by "flickering" or other obstructions common to conventional TVs. The 52LDX99B is also capable of displaying excellent quality full motion video, including digital television signals. With Hitachi's unique Picture-in-PC function users can display the output from their PC in full screen, while viewing video sources as a sub-picture.
Hitachi Denshi America, Ltd. will showcase several products from its line of high-quality video cameras and equipment. Among the display will be Hitachi's HV-D15 three-CCD color camera, featuring a single-chip digital VLSI (very large scale integration) which provides both video processing and encoding and can be remotely controlled from a PC. With its high-resolution, low-light imaging and remote control capability, the HV-D15 can handle many challenging applications, such as broadcasting, teleconferencing, remote observation, medical and microscopy. The HV-D3 will also be demonstrated, featuring a sensitivity range of .001 to 100,000 lux, making it well suited for light-sensitive applications. The HV-D3's built-in frame memory stores the preceding image and updates the camera with the new image, ensuring a constant output from the HV-D3 for use in integration mode.
Also featured will be Hitachi's Eagle Pan Tilt system which is fully integrated for easy "plug and play" hook-up with a wide variety of Hitachi cameras. The cost-efficient Z-3000W, 2/3" format Portable/Studio camera featuring 16:9/4:3 switchability will also be displayed.
