BOXLIGHT Introduces Ultra Short Throw Finger Touch Interactive Projector

Belfair, WA (December 8, 2014) -BOXLIGHT has announced the release of the latest in their award winning interactive projector series – the ProjectoWrite10 WX35NXT.

The P10 is a wall mounted ultra-short throw finger-touch interactive projector – allowing up to 10 different interaction points via finger or interactive pen. A light curtain module located above the displayed image, in combination with a new interactive camera uses IR light to detect interaction at the screen. Control your PC from the projected image with the most recent version of BOXLIGHT’s SPdriver. “Touch” mode allows for enhanced Windows 8 functionality and will emulate a touch screen at the projected image. LightPen-Dual and LightPen5, the latest in BOXLIGHT’s annotation software packages, are both available for free download to use with the P10.

The P10 has a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and is rated at 3500 lumens with native WXGA resolution, 2x digital zoom, multiple wall color options for various wall conditions or screens, LAN connection for remote monitoring, fine tune horizontal and vertical image adjustment, 3D capable (when not in interactive mode) and a filter-free design. At a throw ratio of .35:1 from image to mirror, or .17:1 from image to projector, an 87” optimum image size can be accomplished by projecting just 14” from the screen.

MSRP for the P10 WX35NXT is $2,399 . Wall mounts for either unit are $166 or 149 depending on the installation. All products will be available December 2014.
