Laser projector series from Ricoh shines new light on sharing information, without interruptions
New models support modern work styles with flexibility and virtually maintenance-free long life
The new RICOH PJ WXL6280 and PJ WUL6280 projectors combine the advantages of laser illumination with the brilliance of Texas Instruments' Digital Light Processing (DLP®) projection technology to support the continuous information sharing that is popular in today's world of work. The lamp free design allows for more than 20,000 hours of use, helping to ensure projection quality and reliability. Well-suited for conferences, events, signage and more, users can quickly and easily share content using the instant on/off capability. This feature, along with the HDBaseT interface, which can carry video, audio and control signals up to 100 meters over a LAN connection, empowers users to better foster collaboration and engagement.
The brightness of 6,000 lumens makes it easier for audiences to see what's being presented and the rich functionality of the RICOH PJ L6280 series allows for added content sharing flexibility. With five different lenses that enable ultra-short throw to ultra-long zoom, combined with the 360-degree ability to install at any angle or project from a diagonal position, it allows users to accommodate unique spaces and situations, such as projecting onto a ceiling, floor or angled wall.
"Work is moving at a faster pace than ever, and can't afford to pause for technical issues. Today's work styles also demand freedom from the constraints that limit how information is shared," said John Brophy, Vice President, Product Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "The laser technology of these projectors is an asset for organizations looking to spend less time and money on maintenance. But perhaps even more important than that, the long life and flexibility of RICOH PJ L6280 series provides organizations with freedom – freedom of use, freedom to take advantage of new applications, freedom to share information how they want to and need to."
The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $9,875 for the RICOH PJ WXL6280 and $11,875 for the RICOH PJ WUL6280 laser projectors.
