GRAND CINEMA LINE KEEPS A STEADY LEAD WITH RELEASE OF HT250

Press Release  |  Mar 27, 2001
March 27, 2001 (Miramar, FL) The Road Map has been laid out and the HT200 and HT250s are hitting the highways. Effective immediately, both units are in stock and ready to ship.

SIM2 Multimedia S.p.A., parent company of SIM2 Sèleco USA, has been diligently working to continuously improve the performance of both projectors. Domenico Tolffoli, R&D Manager of SIM2 Multimedia, said that the current 1.15 version of SIM2 software has made significant improvements in both projectors. Because we are the designer and manufacturer of the Grand Cinema line, and DLP™ technology is constantly evolving, we are always working to achieve a better product and to ensure reliability. In fact, the HT250 recently won the Innovations 2001 Design and Engineering Award at this year's International CES in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to Dan Drook, Vice President of SIM2 Sèleco USA, "the market will be pleased with the Grand Cinema line. What other projector allows current owners to have access to the latest software upgrades? The HT200 and the HT250 are products that consumers can feel comfortable purchasing now, and still be able to enjoy for years to come."

The Grand Cinema Line of single-chip DLP™ projectors is the first line of single-chip DLP projectors designed exclusively for home theater. Unique features such as a sealed optical engine, long throw distance, great black levels and true reds give this projector a leading edge above the rest.
