NEC Technologies Introduces Industry's First Sub-Five Pound LCD-Based Projector Featuring DVI-I Interface

ITASCA, Ill., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- NEC Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NIPNY) today introduced the LT156, the industry's first sub-five pound LCD-based projector to feature a DVI-I interface. The latest in NEC's "Go! Series" of microportable projectors, The LT156 includes all of the features of NEC's award-winning LT155 model while upgrading the analog input to a DVI-I input, which enables the transmission of both analog and digital signals. This gives users a projector that is not only compatible with the analog outputs featured on laptops today, but also with future generations of laptops that may feature digital outputs.

Many experts believe that in the next few years, the digital connection standard will become more prevalent in monitors, projectors and PCs.
