NEC Technologies Shines on Rental/Staging Market with Brightest Projector In The Nighthawk Line to Date
XT9000 Broadens Nighthawk Line; Outstanding Brightness and Superior Image Quality Make New Projector the Ideal Choice for Large-Scale Installations And Rental/Staging Venues
ITASCA, Ill., April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- NEC Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NIPNY) sheds more light on the rental/staging/installation marketplace with the introduction of the XT9000, the newest offering from the company's growing family of Nighthawk Series High Light Output (HLO(TM)) projection systems. Designed to produce exceptional brightness and superior image quality, the DLP(TM)-based XT9000 provides high-performance projection power for large-scale venues requiring luminous intensity, such as concert halls, sports arenas and theatrical events.
"We've received a tremendous response to the award-winning XT5000, our initial Nighthawk Series projector and new SX6000 HLO projector. The XT9000 provides users with another exceptional projection choice for large venue applications demanding higher brightness," explained Joe Azzarello, projection systems product manager for Visual Systems at NEC Technologies. "The new Nighthawk projector will deliver some of the highest quality projected images available today. And when you combine the XT9000's versatility with NEC Technologies' solid reputation for customer-centered service and support, the decision to add this product to the Nighthawk Series was as clear as the images it projects."
Able to display clear images even in the brightest room, the XT9000 HLO projector provides users with 8,000 ANSI lumens of brightness while being powered by a new .9" 3-chip processor based on DLP technology from Texas Instruments. The projector features native 1024 x 768 (XGA) resolution and can also provide detailed and focused non-native resolution source display via its Advanced AccuBlend(TM) Intelligent Pixel Blending Technology.
Users will also benefit from VORTEX Technology(TM), which provides data and graphic displays with superior uniformity, color and contrast, and video displays with greater depth, detail, brighter whites and more realistic colors.
Fitted with a digital DVI interface, the XT9000 is simple to link to a wide range of computers, and an integrated PC Card interface makes it easy to back up and upgrade data at a moment's notice. Furthermore, NEC Technologies' exclusive AutoSense(TM) technology automatically synchronizes and adjusts the projector to optimize incoming computer and video signals, eliminating time-consuming manual adjustments. In addition, users can also save time by storing key lens positions in the XT9000's memory using the projector's Lens Indexing feature.
For applications that demand double the brightness, NEC Technologies has designed the XT9000 with a convenient snap-in device so it can be easily double-stacked without the use of special frames or racks, raising the brightness to 16,000 ANSI lumens.
The XT9000 will be available in May through authorized rental, staging, corporate and ProAV integrators. Pricing is yet to be determined. For more information about the XT9000, consult the NEC Technologies Web site at http://www.nectech.com or call 1-877-NEC-EDIT.
