Digital Projection and Ballantyne Develop Landmark Electronic Display Alliance
KENNESAW, Ga., March 1, 1999 Digital Projection and Ballantyne of Omaha today announced a strategic alliance in the development and distribution of advanced digital display systems. The agreement includes researching how new electronic large format innovations can be developed, even enhanced, by studying existing cinema industry technology.
The collaboration with Ballantyne a leading manufacturer of traditional motion picture film projection and entertainment lighting equipment offers both companies notable access to the industry's mature and future technologies, said Brian Critchley, Digital Projection's executive director.

The collaboration will strengthen the projection industry and spawn innovative display solutions.
