St. Charles, Illinois--Dukane Corporation introduces the ImagePro 8753, a true XGA Projector. . . to their family of high quality presentation products. The ImagePro 8753 is an easy to carry portable LCD projector with explosive color and brightness.

The Dukane ImagePro 8753 is a full-featured electronic imaging projector for education and office applications. With XGA resolution it can project images, which match or exceed those produced by almost all the computers used today. It provides an exceptional image at a reasonable investment. To simplify any application, the projector is automatically compatible with today's computer and video signals.

With an image of 1100 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 400:1, the image is clearly visible in most classrooms and offices. It is a sharp 1024 x 768 pixel image, that is rock solid with saturated colors for hours of pleasant viewing. Freedom of movement for the operator is possible with an easy to use infrared (IR) remote control included with the projector. A second set of controls is on the projector. A 1.3X zoom lens permits matching the image size to that of the screen.

The projector's automatic scaling circuit provides correctly sized images for computer inputs of VGA, SVGA, XGA, and SXGA resolutions along with the MAC equivalents. Also, video signals in composite or s-video format from a camera, VCR, or DVD player can be displayed. To provide a mixed media class or presentation, the IR remote control can switch the projector between the composite, s-video, and computer inputs. Thus, the projector image from a computer on a web site can easily be switched to the image from a VCR or that from a local camera.

The remote control can also operate the computer mouse functions using the computer's PS-2 or USB ports. Other remote control functions permit enlargement of an area of the image (zoom) and movement of the enlarged area (pan). For video an image can be "frozen". A "digital keystone" function lets the user adjust the image squareness so it always correct

The ImagePro 8753 can be used for normal front or rear screen projection. The image can also be switched for ceiling mounts. In all cases the whisper quiet cooling system never disturbs the room. A standard monitor output exists for special cases where the image must be locally viewed.
