World's First 3-chip DLP™ Control Room Projector

Kitchener, Ontario - (February 6, 2001) - Christie Digital Systems, developer of award-winning high-performance projection solutions, is pleased to announce it is now shipping the GraphxMaster DLV1280-DX, the world's first 3-chip DLP projector designed exclusively for use in control rooms. In particular, the DLV1280-DX is ideally suited for rear-screen, fixed focal length applications.

With the projector's Digital Light Processing™ subsystem comprising of three DMD™ reflective panels, the projector is able to produce images that have greater color accuracy and uniformity, a higher contrast ratio, and better black levels. It also incorporates powerful features, including Color Space Control, which enables true RGB color matching from display to display, critical in tiled wall applications.
