Kitchener, ON - (June 13, 2001) - Christie Digital Systems, developer of award-winning purpose-built projection solutions, is pleased to introduce its second-generation commercial DLP projectors built for extreme conditions in rental staging applications. All four models, Roadster X4/S4 and X6/S6, feature mechanical and quality-assurance upgrades. With each projector purchased, Christie Digital extends a new three-tier, members-only program designed for unrivaled service and support.

Enhanced Features Address Extreme-Operating Conditions
The following features are designed to increase performance, reliability and control of the Roadster X4/S4 and X6/S6 projectors:

• Higher brightness from brighter Xenon lamps (4000 lumens on the Roadster X4/S4 and 6000 lumens on the Roadster X6/S6)
• Newly-designed built-in stacking and rigging mechanisms that are easy to set up and adjust
• Two-way controller now reaches 3000 ft (457m)
• Three DMD panels are assembled using Christie Digital's proprietary Spatial Light Imaging Construction (SLICTM) process. The SLIC process guarantees superior optical alignment and convergence accuracy
• A superior air filtration system for smoke and dust-prone conditions eliminates the need to seal the optics
• By surpassing five new rigorous tests including MIL STD 810F for extreme thermal, shipping, transit and vibration conditions, the Roadster is designed to outperform the competition

RoadSERVICE Details
Rental Stagers who purchase any one of Christie Digital's Road series projectors are automatically eligible as members in the new RoadSERVICE program. The program offers three levels of support: RoadRYDER™, RoadWARRIOR™ and RoadMASTER™. This new program empowers rental staging customers to make the right business decision by having access to market information, future product development, an array of high performing products and unparalleled onsite service.
