ViewSonic® Corporation Announces PJ1200 Office Theater™ Projector

WALNUT, Calif. - April 7, 1999 - ViewSonic Corporation, a leading provider of display technology, today announced the launch of the PJ1200 Office Theater XGA projector. This bright LCD projector displays sharp text, rich colors in true 1,024 x 768 XGA resolution. From boardroom to classroom, the PJ1200 boasts 1100 ANSI lumens of peak brightness, a contrast ratio of 200:1 and has an MSRP of $6,995.

The PJ1200 projects uniform images ranging from 30 to 300 inches diagonally without dark corners or edges. The projector's 150-watt UHP lamp lasts up to 2,000 hours delivering sharp, crisp video images with true 16.7 million colors.

The fully integrated back-lit wireless remote control with built-in mouse also comes with a laser pointer for user convenience. This new LCD projector is Plug & Play+ certified for installation with Windows® 95 and Windows 98. It features two computer and one video connection, to accommodate three simultaneous input sources from video, PC or Mac® systems. The video loop-through connectors are versatile and allow presenters to run monitors for the benefit of their presentation. The projector also supports a variety of popular display and video standards including NTSC, PAL, SECAM and S-Video.

And for convenient transportability, there are both soft and hard optional carrying cases. The projector also features ceiling mount capabilities for permanent installation. The ViewSonic PJ1200 Office Theater LCD projector weighs 17.8 pounds and is backed by a three-year limited warranty on labor and non-consumable parts, plus a 90-day protection for the lamp.
