Barco Introduces Broad Range of Intelligent Projectors for the Presentation market, including a fully Customizable Version
Extended iQ® and iQ Pro Series includes a range of 9 projectors designed for convincing presentations and training
Kennesaw, GA - October, 14th 2002 - Barco is pleased to announce that its iQ and iQ Pro Series projectors will be expanded to include a fully customizable iQ Praxis G300 and a new range of 400 Series projectors with higher brightness levels. The new 400 Series will have a light output of up to 4,200 ANSI lumens.
Barco's iQ Praxis G300 projector is a versatile LCD projector with XGA resolution (3,500 ANSI lumens). The Praxis can be fully tailored to meet your requirements and budget. Based on your presentation needs, you can choose from a variety of options. Choose the advanced picture-in-picture option if you need to display three sources simultaneously on one screen (i.e. the Internet, a video capture, and your presentation). If you want to increase the momentum and flow of your presentations, add the integrated seamless source switcher. This feature allows you to switch sources on the fly, with professional-quality transition effects like fade in/out. For applications where corporate image building is important, the ‘logo storage' feature allows you to display your company's logo with just one click of the remote control. To easily manage several video sources at once, select the Video Selector option.
In addition to the introduction customizable iQ Praxis G300, Barco will add four more models to its current family of iQ Series and iQ Pro Series projectors. The iQ 300 Series and the iQ 400 Series will be available soon in XGA and SXGA resolution, delivering up to 4,200 ANSI lumens. The iQ Series includes several unique benefits: advanced picture-in-picture, seamless source switching, logo storage, and intelligent dual-lamp design.
The revolutionary iQ Pro 300 Series integrates a powerful computer server for full networking capability and truly wireless presenting. The iQ Pro 300 Series will be complemented with higher brightness models of the iQ Pro 400. When the iQ Pro 300/400 are connected to your LAN, you can send any file type over your network to the projector and save the file on the projector's hard disk. All iQ Pros come with two Barco software packages, (‘DropZone' and ‘Remote Control & Diagnostics'). For more information on the revolutionary iQ Pro Series, please visit www.presentations.barco.com.
