Liesegang’s new multi-media projector models in the DV line

Press Release  |  Sep 23, 2002

dv 255 and dv 455 for use in conference rooms and schools

Düsseldorf, 23rd September 2002. In the educational market the Liesegang brand has established itself as leader in the multi-media projector sector. In presenting the dv 255 and dv 455 – to be seen for the first time at photokina 2002 – Liesegang is extending its range of reliable and powerful LCD projectors in this field.

"Increasingly in schools and universities multi-media projectors are replacing the classic overhead projector. Liesegang, as traditional supplier of projectors in institutions, is now offering new elegant, light-weight LCD projectors (2,7kg) specially designed for use in undarkened and half-darkened rooms. The dv 255 with 1600 ANSI-lumens is suitable for medium-large seminar and conference rooms with its SVGA resolution. The dv 455 with XGA variant and higher resolution is designed for larger projection formats as also for showing complex diagrams and images. The projector is made with room-to-room use in mind. It can be set up, adjusted and operated with the greatest ease. There is no longer the need to project from the middle of the room thanks to Side Mode ™, which allows vertical image correction." explains Stefan Schukat, Liesegang Sales Director for Germany.

Further features are the lit-up operating display, anti-theft security device and the capacity for rapid projection of large-scale images. These make the dv 455 a premium product for use in educational institutions. Naturally it is equally suited for use in the corporate context ( training courses and presentations) as also for the home cinema ( with ceiling mount).
