F1 SXGA and F1 XGA by projectiondesign®

September 24th 2002 PHOTOKINA - Köln, Germany-– projectiondesign® redefines the high end business projector market by introducing 2 new projectors: the F1 SXGA, the F1 XGA.

F1 SXGA
The F1 SXGA is the first native 1280x1024 high resolution projector to offer outstanding image performance below 28 dB noise level and 3 kgs weight (6.5 lbs). Designed for demanding professional users in workstation and high end PC environments, it will open for new applications and customer groups as users discover the benefits of high resolution and brightness in silent operation and compact format.

The DLP™ technology-based F1 provides the ultimate combination of high resolution projection power and unmatched reliability and flexibility. The F1 is designed for a variety of professional applications such as simulation, visualization, 3D, engineering, architecture, CAD as well as for conference and boardrooms, rental and staging, technical oriented meeting rooms in corporates and universities.

According to Jorn Eriksen, president of projectiondesign® , "the F1 is specifically designed for even sophisticated large venue applications where brightness and resolution cannot be compromised, but a sleek, compact design is preferred. The F1 is powered by a one chip processor based on DLP™ technology from Texas Instruments. The 3,000 ANSI lumen projector features SXGA native resolution (1280 x 1024). The F1 can even provide detailed and focused non-native resolution source displays up to UXGA (1600 x 1200). The image quality on the F1 is greatly enhanced by projectiondesign experience to generate data and graphic displays with superior uniformity, color and contrast. Using Faroudja™ deinterlacer, the F1 displays HDTV video with greater depth, detail, brighter whites and more realistic colours . Fitted with a digital DVI interface and VGA interface, the F1 easily connects to any computer or workstation. The F1 will surprise with immediate and optimized source synchronization. The F1 will literally adjust to any incoming computer and video signals, eliminating time-consuming manual adjustments.

F1 XGA
The F1 XGA is a native XGA projector designed for users that will not compromise on image quality and light output. Except for lower native resolution, it has all of the main features of the F1 SXGA.
