Itasca, Ill., December 9, 2002 - NEC Solutions (America), Inc. today introduced the VT45K, an enhanced version of NEC's top-selling VT45 projector for mobile and tabletop applications. The new projector enriches the VT45's high-performance feature set by more than doubling the VT45's lamp life in standard mode to 2200 hours and offering a 3500-hour lamp life in Eco-ModeT, lowering the projector's total cost of ownership considerably.

On units purchased through December 31st, VT45K users also benefit from a reduced estimated cost of $1,330 after $150 end-user rebate and from an extra year of InstaCare coverage.
