Hitachi Announces New Full-Featured Ultraportable LCD ProjectorCP-X385W Provides Mobile Solution to Meet a Diverse Range of Presentation Needs
BRISBANE, Calif.,February 4, 2003 - Hitachi America, Ltd., a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., Tokyo, Japan (NYSE: HIT), today announced the availability of the CP-X385W, the newest addition to its ultra-portable projector product line. The CP-X385W features native XGA resolution for exceptional image quality and impressive brightness and connectivity. These features make the CP-X385W an ideal option for businesses looking for a feature rich projector that is easy to install and use.

The CP-X385W combines native XGA resolution with a contrast ratio of 350:1 and a brightness of 2,200 lumens. Coupled with its weight of just over seven pounds, the ultra-portable CP-X385W provides presenters with vibrant and crisp image quality, contained in a lightweight and easily portable footprint.
Full Featured and Flexible
In addition to its impressive image quality and brightness, the CP-X385W possesses many other features that allow the unit to be used for multiple applications. The CP-X385W's vertical and horizontal keystone correction function enable the unit to be used in classroom or conference room settings, allowing the presenter to work around seating arrangements where the path of the projected image can be obstructed.
