IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 18, 2003 - Toshiba's Computer Systems Group (CSG) today announced the new TDP-D1, an ultra-bright projector designed for presenters who demand versatility, power and portability. Weighing in at 5.3 pounds, the TDP-D1 provides mobile professionals and small to medium businesses with a presentation tool that delivers the quality and performance they demand for any conference room setting. Toshiba's new DLP projector also complements the company's full line-up of ultra-portable projectors by offering a full range of features at a competitive price. Delivering bright, crisp images, the TDP-D1 boasts an impressive 2,000 ANSI lumens, 800:1 contrast ratio, XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and automatic keystone correction. The product also includes a special monitor output connector allowing connectivity to a monitor in addition to the projection on the screen. Additionally, the TDP-D1 features passive loop through capabilities that enables the external monitor to function even though the projector is not turned on.
